Dubai Islands is one of Nakheel's most ambitious projects, envisioned as a new benchmark for luxury coastal living in Dubai. The five artificial islands are connected to the mainland by the modern Infinity Bridge, offering quick access to Downtown Dubai and Dubai International Airport in just 20–25 minutes. The district features over 20 km of coastline with Blue Flag-certified beaches, expansive green parks, promenades, and marinas. A dynamic infrastructure is under development. Deira Mall, one of the emirate's largest shopping and entertainment centres, is under construction, and Souk Al Marfa, a night market with thousands of shops, cafes, and restaurants, is already welcoming visitors.
Active recreation options include golf courses, sports clubs, and water sports facilities for surfing, diving, and kayaking. Dubai Islands has been designed as a family-friendly, resort-style community. Schools, nurseries, and medical centres will be located on the islands. As for now, the nearest educational institutions include The Elite English School, Al Ittihad Private School Mamzar, and Sabari Indian School. Medical support is provided by Dubai Hospital and Thumbay Hospital, reachable in 15–20 minutes by car.
